"Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!"

It is difficult to imagine why this zany character smiles so much- he's constantly being denied his one true love -- Trix Cereal. But that persistent smile showed his determination to one day reach that fruit flavored corn puff filled bowl of utopia.

After receiving years of letters pleading to let the poor rabbit have some Trix, General Mills finally gave in. During the 1976 presidential campaign, Children were asked to mail in box tops to cast their vote to allow the rabbit to have a taste of his beloved Trix. The decision was a landslide.

When finally given a bowl of Trix, the rabbit went WILD, shooting around at mach speed. Roger Rabbit couldn't have done it better.

Here he is in a 1977 version of a soft vinyl toy.
